We Are TR: Marketing to Our Consumers and Their Support Systems
*This course has been pre-approved by NCTRC for 5 clock hours.
This course will discuss the concept of marketing Therapeutic Recreation (TR) to persons served including, but not limited to, patients, clients, family members, caregivers, and other participants. The course will include information related to learning styles, TR marketing resources, and strategies for marketing TR. A discussion of tips and traps and a marketing “checklist” will also be included.
Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to identify a minimum of two Therapeutic Recreation specific marketing materials that can be utilized with populations served.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to identify a minimum of two ways to market to the visual learner and the verbal learner.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to identify a minimum of two tips and two traps related to marketing.
