Intro To Pediatrics In Recreational Therapy

Course Objectives

Learner will demonstrate a basic understanding of various settings, populations, and modalities when working with pediatric clientele and their families

Learner will demonstrate an introductory understanding of how to therapeutic utilize play and other modalities to support skill development, emotional processing, and social inclusion (as well as other goals) with pediatric clients

Learner will demonstrate competency related to working with pediatric clients in Recreation Therapy by completing the “Introduction to Pediatrics in Recreation Therapy” online course and passing an online exam based on the course with a score of at least 70% within 365 days of starting the course
