Marketing TR to Other Healthcare Professionals and Stakeholders
*This course has been pre-approved by NCTRC for 5 clock hours.
This course will discuss the concept of marketing Therapeutic Recreation (TR) to other healthcare professionals. The course will include information related to learning styles, marketing to the organization, evidenced based practice, person first language, and specific TR marketing outlets. At the completion of this course, participants will need to pass an exam with a minimum score of 70%. Participants must complete the course within 365 days of starting the course to receive a completion certificate.
Course Objectives

Students will be able to identify the seven learning styles and their importance to marketing Therapeutic Recreation

Students will be able to identify a minimum of three ways to market Therapeutic Recreation to one’s organization

Students will be able to identify a minimum of two Therapeutic Recreation specific resources for marketing materials
